ChildLine (UK)
ChildLine is the free 24-hour helpline for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call our helpline on 0800 1111 about any problem, at any time - day or night. ChildLine's counsellors are there to help you find ways to sort things out.
ChildLine is confidential - which means we won't tell anyone about your call unless you want ChildLine to talk to somebody for you, or you are in danger.

Child HelpLine
To provide Information, Support and Advocacy for children and young people, through the provision of a telephone conselling service.
Child Helpline is a registered Charitable Trust set up under a trust deed which provides a specific service - a free, anonymous counselling service for children and young people, also their Parents and Caregivers.

ChildLine India
10-9-8. The countdown to a better life for the street child or CHILDLINE - Indiaís first 24-hour, free, emergency phone service for children. It has, since its inception five years ago, taken over 10 lakh such calls and made a difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of children all over the country.

Girls and Boys Town
The Girls and Boys Town National Hotline is a 24-hour crisis, resource and referral line. Accredited by the American Association of Suicidology, our Hotline is staffed by trained counselors who can respond to your questions every day of the week, 365 days a year. Over the past decade, more than 5 million callers have found help at the end of the line.

ISPCC
The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) is Ireland's leading children's charity specialising in the prevention of cruelty to children.

Kids Help Line
This site has been designed for kids experiencing emotions, feelings and any problems that they want to share with someone else.

Kids Help Phone
Kids Help Phone is Canada's only toll-free, 24 hour, national bilingual telephone counselling service for children and youth.

Kids In Mind
The Mater Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Brisbane has launched a new and innovative website. This unique website provides Queensland's first child and youth mental health service website. "Kids in Mind" provides information for children, youth, parents, referrer, staff, researchers and other service providers. "Kids in Mind" offers an inside look into our service and helps to break down barriers.

Lawstuff - the site with a whole bunch of stuff about legal rights for people under 18!

Make A Noise
Great depression resource for young people. Lots of information and help on what to look for, where to go and what to do. Also plenty of info on related issues. Excellent.

NineLine Hotline
In addition to food, shelter, clothing and crisis care, Covenant House provides a variety of services to homeless youth including health care, education, vocational preparation, drug abuse treatment and prevention programs, legal services, recreation, mother/child programs, transitional living programs, street outreach and aftercare.

Parent Easy Guide to Adolescent Depression
A one-pager from the SA department of Human Services that gives parents an excellent overview of types of depression, what to look out for, where to go to get help and what you can do to help. Good place to start.

Reach Out
Aimed at kids and teenagers. A little bit like Kids Help Line where it enables anyone of any age to use the site and gain information, or talk to someone. This will take you straight to info on depression.

The Australian Early Intervention Network for Mental Health
Focussing on depression in Teenagers, this site is produced by the AusEinet team at Flinders University in SA. You will need to scroll down the LHS navigation to find the depression link under 'Conditions'. Some good info here.

There 4 Me
If you've got worries or need some advice, There4me.com can help. The site is for all 12-16 year-olds living in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. It's to help you find solutions to your problems.
There's on screen advice about all sorts of things...bullying, relationships, exams, drugs, difficulties at home, to name just a few. Or you can send an e-letter to Sam, our agony aunt.
If you'd prefer a confidential private session, you can talk 1-2-1 in 'real time' with an NSPCC adviser, or e-mail for reply within 24 hours. You don't have to say who you are - you stay in control.

Youth Mental Health
Promoting the mental health and well being of young people in Victoria. The Victorian Network of Mental Health Promotion Officers (MHPOs) brings together workers from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services across Victoria. There is one MHPO position for each Mental Health region in the State.

What's Up
The Kids Help Foundation Trust offers the telephone counselling service for children and young people called Whatís Up.
