depressioNet.com.au is committed to helping research into any aspect of depression.
You must be 16 years or older to complete this survey.
The Tellsomeone Project is an online research project examining trauma-related issues including depression, domestic and sexual abuse, and suicide. |
RMIT University researchers are currently calling for 5,000 volunteers to complete an anonymous online survey, that will be used as basis to create better understanding and resources for addressing these serious and prevalent social problems.
The researchers are very keen for the project to be particularly inclusive of the most vulnerable (marginalized and isolated) groups within communities. EVERYONE is welcome to participate, and you can also help the research by telling others about this survey.
We need EVERYONE over 16 [NOT ONLY people with personal experiences of these problems, but everyone, so that meaningful comparisons can be made (i.e., we need control groups as well).
We need large numbers of both males and females from all walks of life (and all sexual orientations), (and we're currently especially short of male participants).
The survey is online and completely anonymous.
Participation in the survey provides an opportunity for everyone to be able to make a positive and practical contribution towards addressing these serious and prevalent social problems. Silence, stigma, and taboos surrounding these issues often perpetuate the problem.
The survey can be easily accessed by googling: tellsomeone project
